Alfa Romeo Suspension Help Needed

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

I have spent the last two days trying to replace the lower wishbones on my Alfa Romeo 156. Ive tried to follow the guides on the Alfa forums, but with no luck! I need a second pair of hands to help and i have called around almost everyone i know but none of them are free today. So now im clutching at straws!

If anyone can come and help me today I will be very grateful and i will make it worth your while.

My post code is ME5 7RW, you'll see the car ;)

Sorry mate,

Busy today after a 2 day session.

TBH, I'd be scared to work on an Alfa, as I'm not sure that anything that got touched would work again............. :giggle:

I think when you have a difficult problem, its always good to step back and try and view it from a different perspective. You were saying last night that you'd scrap it for spares if you had time. Why not look at it ad the first 2 days of that process.... ;-)

Ive been given some advice on the alfa forums this morning, however i need some decent ratchet straps or coil compressors that will not have massive threaded bar in the way!

Didn't Des lend you compressors before?

Yes but I cant get hold of him.

I went to Halfords and bought a new set but its all wasted now

Just put my back out. Feels like someone has stabbed me in the lower back.

Im in agony. :(

Deep freeze cold spray can be good for that, or green lipped mussel gel or a heat gun (not the paint stripper type) the infra red type. All of which I have if you want?
