Do you still notice it with the seats replaced?

Mine is much noisier with the insulation of the seats removed.

Must confess I never looked at the service book, just assumed the dealer would advise me when something needed doing. I'll have to be more alert in future!

Do I need to go and see my dealer about getting up in the night (to go to the toilet -OK!) or should I continue to consult my doctor?

I think I'd rather have my GP insert the gloved finger to check my Prostate than a Škoda dealer?

Out of interest, how often is the fluid changed?

In my handbook it says every 60,000kms ( 37,000 and a bit miles ) same for 6 speed auto DSG gearbox oil and filter.

I'm at 21k miles.

Considering how my car gets used think I'll get it done sooner rather than later!

simple oil change on the Yeti too, no filter to change.

No filter change if fitted with the Haldex 4...

Haldex oil changed today and the whine has gone away, I also go the service menu specifically for my car, this is arranged by Skoda UK and Leaseplan, it states the cambelt is good for 140,000miles!!!! I will scan it and post as it is very different to what they tell you when you buy and service your own car.

That is really good to hear. I am glad that the whine is gone and I do hope that you won't experience any more problems with your Yeti.

Best regards!
