Fabia pagid pads any good

Featured Replies

I've just purchased some pagid pads for my fabia never used them before what are people's views on them are they any good

I liked them. I had pagid discs too

Paige all round (inc discs) on my Ibiza, no problems at all, recommend them in fact.

I want some for my mk4 ibiza tdi too. I'm guessing there's no wear sensors on our pads.

Thanks ill give them a go and see how I get on

I found that PAGID brakes need a little while longer than most disks and pads to bed in properly but once they have they are great

Agree with Jon woo above. I found they get better and better with time, used them on trackdays as well with Fabia.

I found out the hard way, thought my set on my vectra gsi were bedded in properly, ended up warping both front disks

I thought the OEM pads were made by Pagid. Pagid,Textar and Mintex are made in the UK by TMD Friction, (I know this as I've done contract work in one of their factories in Hartlepool where they produce Mintex pads).

More explanation in this thread: http://www.briskoda....-parts-for-vrs/

Pagid discs and pads all round, never had a problem with them TBH. I usually scuff new discs and pads with coarse grit sandpaper before fitting, it seems to help them bed in quicker but that could be a placebo.

Fitted Pagid discs and pads all round to mine a few months ago.

Seem fine to me.

I had the exact same issue. Warped a set after 400 miles lol. Other than that, they were spot on

I assume the capitalisation is to point out my rather embarrassing autocorrect fail ha?

Got a set of pagid discs on my vrs. Went round croft 2 weeks ago no problems. Going round knockhill in 2 weeks, for the price you can't complain, really good disc considering everyone reccomends 312's before a remap, What a load of *******s. The standard brakes are more than capable of what members on here say they Are.

Just uprated from 288's to 312's!

No change exactly the same imo! Rubbish still!

Pagid stuff is good!

Just ordered a set of Pagid discs and pads for the

Fiat 500. The OE ones are near enough shot.

As is the OE exhaust. Getting quotes in for a custom stainless

catback that are lower than replacing it with another mild steel

genuine fiat part that will peel like an onion in a few years like this one has.

No :giggle: i didn't even notice to be honest. Just put a new set of pads on the vrs.... driving like granny for a few hundred miles

Well just to be clear, I think PAGID pads are pretty good. PAIGE pads, on the other hand, are probably crap (likely as they don't exist ha!).
