Meteor Grey - the picture thread

Featured Replies

Loiusv6, I have also had it confirmed that the colour is not metallic.

On a scale of one to 10, how confident do you feel that's the new meteor grey as in your photo? Everyone I'm asking has said no one in the country knows the colour yet, and even Skoda customer services have told me the same, so I don't quite know how you got hold of that photograph?!

  • On other new Skodas, the 2 Colours 'Meteor Grey' and 'Metal Grey' are listed as Metallics. ('google images meteor grey' and you see the various images of the Superb etc, but as you say, not great pic

  • Thanks. I'll let Skoda know.

Skoda customer services managed to get it from their marketing department. The fact I was dealing with a member of the "executive team" may well have made the difference.

So - I'm confident that the photo they sent me is the real thing but its hard to tell from that whether its identical to the colour that the woerthersee rs+ concepts were wearing. Its close enough for me to want to place an order...

Thanks for that, if it is that colour I will be very pleased. So strange then that the meteor grey on the skoda uk website is completely different!!

It certainly ties in with the Special Edition Fabia Reaction colour on Simpsons website.

How very odd.........

Looks like Meteor Grey to me...

Well spotted, it is indeed, definitely, the meteor colour and confirmed now by skoda uk customer services.

Thank god we can now lay this matter to rest :giggle:

Fantastic - where did you see that?

Now I just need to see a monte to set my mind at rest!!

The meteor grey looks really nice on the fabia pictures. I'm confused as to whether to stick to red or take the plunge with meteor grey and hope for the best?!

Why would anyone choose Meteor grey when Steel grey is available? Steel is such a lovely colour which changes in different lights.  (I might be a bit biased though)

Because the only grey available is meteor grey on the fabia Monte Carlo :(

Ah that could be a problem then!

Saw my first meteor grey Fabia Reaction at the Lincoln dealer yesterday; sorry no photos, as I had left the phone at home

I liked it myself with the ofset of black wheels and roof. However it might be a bit dull as a single colour and would not suite silver rims, oh the Royal Navy would also be very happy with the shade on their warships :giggle:

Any chance you could go back and take a few photos?  :giggle:

Look like primer grey to me. Well at least should be a good base coat if you decide to get it sprayed a real colour... :giggle:
