Picked-up my Fabia TDI today

Featured Replies

ScoobyChris's old car.

Having driven it around all afternoon, I absolutely love it. It's all standard at the moment (with exception of the two-tone interior), and it goes really well. The diesel and turbo aspect took a bit of getting used to, having come from a small petrol.

This afternoon I gave it a massive clean and even clay-bar'd the paintwork. That stuff really works! Was going to get some shots, but the thunder (and enormous rain) came rolling-in just as I was finishing the wax off.

Sorry - this thread is useless without pics. Perhaps some decent ones tomorrow if I do change the wheels...

:D

As long as your happy :)

Have a guess where the grey interior came from. ;) I'll give you a small clue. :D

It was all in good nick though. Any plans with it? Going to revert it back to the beige OEM look? :)

Glad you're enjoying it and you managed to sort the insurance out :D Always satisfying to pass the car onto someone who's going to enjoy it rather than a dealer!

I saw that post! It's a bit scary.

People who saw the car last night seem to think I should go back to beige. Though, at the moment, I'm quite enjoying the two-tone look. Might looks bigger inside with the beige trim though.

Managed to get the insurance for about the same as what I was paying on my 1998 1.4 Polo!
