Boot storage kit?

Featured Replies

Took delivery of car yesterday but noticed today I might be missing something.

Does anyone know if boot storage fixing, mentioned in brochure, are the plastic inserts on either side of the boot - as in picture?

No sign of them in my car so wondering if others have them?

Going by brochure they are standard for Elegance.

Look in this picture on the right side they are inside that plastic

They form the sides of the stowage trays on either side of the boot. They push out. I had to look for them myself. Very clever way of stowing the very clever stowage brackets!

Thanks for the replies guys - having looked again I can't see them, no plastic inserts in the boot or certainly nothing obvious.

Don't know if it's to do with variable floor on the estate.

Nothing to explain it in the manual.

Maybe it will be there after all but have emailed dealer - I did think the plastic parking ticket holder was some sort of plastic clip left on and was about to try to break it off!

I believe you better go to the dealer to explain a little the car. So you will not break anything. Hope the storage fixing is there and the dealed didn't do any mistake. Also I will check this when taking the car.

This is the left side - there is a gap in the floor covering to lift a panel out:

Hope the photos help explain it a bit better - dealer's a bit far but next time I go past I'll take it in if they can't work it out based on the email.

But I believe Elegance should have some sepparators on both sides an there you find the plastic pieces ola_h showeed you in the pic.

I think it's because you've got the variable boot floor that you don't get the storage sides, the publicity photo of the estate does not have the variable floor.

You‘re right Stokey, had this confirmed now from the dealer as well.

No boot storage kit with the variable floor.

Another bit of an error in the brochure not to mention it.
