  • Do the map last... That way you get the best out of any performance mods you do, E.g FMIC, exhaust, EGR delete etc

Looks sweet dude :D

Looking good

cheers guys, looking at power mods next, thinking seatsport cooler, then remap, the clutch, stage 1, then buy a pd150, have it refurbed and possibly hybrided (is that even a word) then stage 2 map :)

If your going for a hybrid turbo you may as well save the £300 from a stage 1 map :)

How much have you lowered this ? As it looks sweet

  • Author

well im umming and arrring about the hybrid turbo / turbo thing, i think with a decent clutch and fmic, a health 180bhp/190bhp would sort me out for my speed fix, would be aobut 300lb/ft ish too, so it wont hang around, a friend has the same engine spec and it's ridiculously quick :)

in terms of height im not too sure mate, i've taken a good 60-70m out of its height, before i could get my fist in between the tyre and the arch, now i cant :)

sits how i want it, not stupidly low but changes the look completely, especially from the front with the LCR splitter too

Yeah mate looks sweet , and power wise I'm in the same dilemma as I was thinking of hybrids but realised with the torque after the re map will spin up in the dry

  • Author

i think in all honesty a stage 1 map will sort me out, then i can pursue more power etc when the clutch is done, mental to think that a pd150 turbo costs less than a clutch and DMF

My standard clutch and DMF is holding up with with my hybrid turbo :) it's all down to the way it's driven.

hmmm, blast, you shouldn't have said that, what torque is yours at?

Not sure yet mate haven't had it on RR'd. I had a shark map before but the turbo pulls much harder and longer and no slip or nothing from the clutch :)

Lovely :)

Looking seriously smart!! The drop you're running seems perfect! :)

Can I ask if your running adjusters in the rear or not? Do you get any problems with undertray scrape-age at all? (if you run an undertray that is....)

  • Author

dont run an undertray mate. took that straight off :)

Chuffed now and the map is awesome. 2nd to 4th gear is really strong now and 20-60 comes very quickly <3

Money well spent :)

Just the sub to fit and its booked in wednesday for oil change and abs sensor repair :)

Very nice.

Lamin-x is a step too far imo soz, heading towards Max Power land  :wonder:

Careful with that new map, don't boot it from low rpm and your clutch should all be safe :)

Like the Lamin-x stuff I once had it fitted on mine before I got xenons :)

Niiiice, I commented on one of the pictures on FB. I had a Motech map on mine, was lovely and smooth, cracking bang for buck. Very nice looking SE.

never booted it below 2k :)

I can safely say that the more I drive the car the more I love it. the map is spot on, nice smooth lines. no sudden surge or spike in power. properly nice and driveable. now ive had the abs sensor fixed and have traction control back, its awesome again

highly recommend motech, and for £240 with egr mapped out. its a bargain

just need to buy the ap coilovers now :)
