Hi Guys,

For a long time we have strictly been a clutch company, however as we have continued to grow we are now looking to move into the ever competitive brake market.

With the recent addition of some state of the art CNC machines we are now able to offer Grooved and Dimpled extremely high quality brake discs.

To start our new range off I thought I would come on here and offer the discs to our Briskoda faithful.

A price on a set of a Pair of Front Discs for the Fabia VRs is £80 and rears are £40, Mintex brake pads are also available and competitively priced.

These prices are a lot cheaper than what we plan to retail the product at online,m just thought it would be a nice start to offer them to you guys first.

i'm sure you will be able to pick discs up for cheaper on fleaBay but at this price and this quality I'll be shocked if we can be beaten.

Thanks

Andy

As your new to the game, I’d like to ask a few questions if possible:

1. What experience do you have as a company in relation to brake systems?

2. What unique advantage do your disks have over competitors?

3. What research did you do to conclude dimples and grooves are the best solution for a disk as none of the other ‘big boys’ such as brembo went this route?

4. Have the disks passed any form of certification, such as TUV?

Thanks and I'm sure others have questions too.

I can almost (but not comprehensively) guarantee that they will be for "road use" only and will give 101 reasons why they are better over solid, grooved only and/or drilled only or just vented or what ever. Just like everybody else selling brake discs. I bought grooved only due to stories that I had heard regarding dimpled and drilled discs cracking. So, instead, I have screeching noises. Which is nice...

Oh and I would be more interested to find out what brakes pads do not catch light at track days as well.

Carbone Lorraine pads are superb. That's what I and many others use on our race cars. Not sure if you can get them in VRS fitment. If not, Ferodo and Mintex do reasonable race spec pads too.

I'd also be interested as to why your discs are good enough to be that price, bearing in mind the proven Brembo max discs are not much more. Infact I got a set of rears last month for £27!

My current pads are Mintex. They fell in to a burning ring of fire.

Fred there is alot one could speculate about you with that fastidious line of questioning....

We have now sold 5 sets of these kits to our customers who know and appreciate the quality of our brand.

This offer will remain on until the end of next week, when the kits will be released to our distributors who will sell at a much inflated rate.

Thanks

And you'll lose out to MTEC and CRN Products/Brake Depot. Good luck.

Speculate about me?

No need, I shall tell you about me...

I'm one of them people who can't stand BS. I can’t stand companies who try and sell a so called quality 'performance' product yet cannot back it up in any way.

The fact you didn’t answer my questions means you have zero credibility as a company.

I’m also one of them people who is open to having my opinions changed…

So show us all your research, tell us what unique features you bring, explain the “quality” and maybe we will all start to take note and listen.

Some harsh comments starting to fly about guys;

Suggestion;

Why doesn't the seller offer a free set to the first person that PM's them, and who promises to give honest and open feedback via the forum - surely a 'win-win' situation for all?

what a complete tool you look like here, so disrespectful.

Disrespectful?

We are not talking about an individual here.

This is a business trying to sell a product, a so called performance “quality” product. An important safety component of the car at that.

Yet is unable to answer a set of basic questions around them.

They are not certified, there is no evidence of research, the company has not been able to provide us with their background in this market or give us any information about why this product is unique or something to be considered “quality”.

All the questions are fair and going by the number of ‘likes’ I have had come through my profile I think tis safe to say a lot of people are of the same opinion.

If the company answer all the questions then good, let’s take it from there.

But at the moment their only response was aggressively defensive and purposefully trying to divert from extremely valid questions.

So no, it’s not disrespectful and unless your completely missing the point here I’m also not the tool.

its the way you go about the posts you have posted, getting on your high horse and being a right clever ****.

Clever is such a relative word and something you have demonstrated so gracefully.

If you don’t understand or are unable to provide grown-up answers/questions/comments then please don’t contribute; its not productive for anybody.

I agree with fred here

I agree with fred here

For what it's worth so do I.

It's not unreasonable to expect people to ask for information that is relevant to back up a product.

I'd happily have a free set to try out :)

I completely agree with the questions he asked, obviously you want to know what your buying. I said it was the way he posted I just thought the replies and comments he used weren't very impolite.
