Lets hope they don't start taking engine covers off or they could be awkward if they see my egr delete and elephant trunk :S even though that wouldn't effect the brakes :(

Yeah fingers crossed, hope they put my a3 handbrake springs back in!

I reckon that you should either kiss that spring goodbye, or phone them up and ask that they either remove it and refit it, or leave it in the car for you to fit. Remember it is not a standard part so if they are a Skoda dealership then they will not know anything about it.

Or, here is an even better idea, dump the other spring and fit two new Sharan/Alhambra/Galaxy springs as they do the job "just right"!

It's all sorted! Car feels much better now, going to have to paint other calipers now though, they look very pale in comparison!

As they say somewhere... Proper job :)

Part numbers pal?

I'll have a look back where I've mentioned it before, but, I think that numbers might have changed, maybe just get Sharan MK1 springs from Ford.
