Roomster 3-spoke leather steering wheel.

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've had a quick look through the forums but I can't find an answer for this. Does anyone happen to know how much a Skoda dealer would charge to supply and fit: 1) the 3-spoke sports steering wheel and 2) the arm rest from the Skoda accessory brochure to our new Roomster 1.2 (105) SE which is on order?

Thanks for your help...

At the moment all the accessories on the new Roomsters are free of VAT. The Roomster brochure shows 3 different `3 spoke wheels but the cheapest is £216.67 going up to £266.67 depending on radio/telephone controls you want. The centre armrest is priced at £79.17. Depending on build date and how long your order has been in, the dealer might be able to get these factory fitted, which would be the cheaper option. How long have you been quoted for delivery?

Re the arm rest, unless you are really sold on the idea, arn`t a great deal of use. If you have it down, you cant get to the handbrake and its set so low down, unless you have massively long arms its difficult to use. I had one on my Fabia and it spent all its time in the upright position.

Thanks Paully,

It's arriving next week. It's an already built car (onto which have already been added a set of the "Noid" 16 inch alloys) which were able to get as a good deal at Simpson's VIP event, including the zero VAT, so all the accessories will have to be fitted at the dealership...

Ah I see, mines still waiting to be built so different ball game, but have a word with the dealers and see what they can do for you. I bought at a DM Keith VIP event and got a cracking deal as well, but my dealer has been very good re fitting some dealer extras so its worth a word with them, but either way happy new Roomster..what colour did you get?

It's a white one - which is a bit scary. It'll be nice and cool on the inside (unlike a black car) but I'm a bit concerned about it not being too "cool" on the outside. It's getting a chrome boot trim and exhaust trim and the official "Roomster" styling decals down the side to stop it looking like a van. Hope it works...!

White is good! You won't regret it!

Can you see the exhaust on the 1.2? It is completely hidden by the rear bumper on the TDi.

White is great colour for Roomster.

As about the exhaust. No it is also hidden by the rear bumper on the 1.2Tsi

Well I got the 3-spoke sports leather wheel fitted at £144 (I got a good discount). As for the chrome exhaust trim I'm guessing it'll be like the one on my wife's current Fabia Ambiente - which was fitted at Simpsons when the car was bought new and fits on the end of the exhaust straight out under the rear valance - looks good even if it does slightly reduce the ground clearance. It must work I suppose or they wouldn't offer it...
