My refurbished alloys - red car / anthracite wheels

Featured Replies

Looks great. I was thinking of something similar for my blue one. Is there a nice shine from wheels? Was worried it would be dull.

Black wheels... not my bag.

Gun metal/Anthracite... that looks so good I may need to get the wheels and the silver roof bars done!

What was the paint code? Just out of interest, of course!

that looks great - really suits the car especially with the rear tints too.

personally i'd also get it to sit a little lower too, but hey, i say that about just about every octavia that is posted on here.. :D

Love them!

There is a really nice metallic sparkle in the paint so definitely not dull.

I will need to check with my mate who did did them for the code, he showed me a load of colour charts and after speaking with him on what would look best this is what was picked.

Couldn't agree more with you Rob, I want to get it lowered but want a decent setup to maintain ride comfort level my wife and 5 month old wont complain about so thinking about the KW comfort or Eibach Pro street which also come recommended.

Yep they look nice..

Look great and so much better than Black.

Lovin that mate, got mine refurbed yesterday but just kept with the silver:)

Glad you did that and posted them here. Something I wondered about for a while as I dont really like black wheels but they look super.

You see black wheels very often, and I think it's boring. This is much better! I like them.

I think they look great but I would do, I wanted black and silver for mine last year but was persuaded to have the silver base and anthracite top coat against corrida red. So thumbs up, they look tops.

Quick snap of the car that I took after getting it back from paint shop. After deciding to keep a more stock look and not buy new alloys I've had the standard Neptunes painted in metallic anthracite/gun metal type colour. Wasn't sure if to go full black but having seen the finished result Im glad I didn't. Personllay I think they look fantastic and improves over the standard silver.

Will get more pics up shortly, using a proper camera and not my phone but had to share asap :D

That looks really nice, thanks for posting.

I'm wondering if anthracite wheels would suit my silver Suberb or SWMBO's Race Blue vRS?

Any comments / advice very welcome!

DC

Got the wheels for our race blue VRS changed to smoked chrome. Looks really good.

They look fantastic on a red car.
