Looks good. Maybe should have stopped at the join for the a pillar and wing, but otherwise top job :) always wanted to see a mk1 like that :)

Agree with stopping at the pillar too the lines dont seem to go in my eyes.

I'm guessing the aim was to make it look like a mk2.

Succeeded... Or wait a minuuutttte.

Lots of people have just done the roof, to the roofbar fixing rail point. Nice to see someone pushing the wrapping a little further. I'd be interested to see how it terminates at the bootlid end.

I don't like it, why would you want a mk1 to look like a mk2?

I would argue the mk1 is a better looking car.

Sounds like the Mk 1 vs. Mk II Golf GTi argument all over again. Lol!

Anyway Darren, for what it's worth I think the wrap looks quite individual; job well done. ;)

That's a good effort it's definitely been done to same style level as a mk2 but it just doesn't quite flow right, maybe just the roof would have looked better.

Looks good, unique.

Looks odd.

Could have done the C pillars too to give the whole black-head look! :giggle:

Kidding, I like the idea, still thinkt he Cs couls have been done completely though.

I like the idea of painting A pillar black. That's the part of MK2 design I like the most.

Don't take this as an insult because it isn't.

But in all honesty it makes me think of a ladybird.

Look at the third pic, Jase :-)

Another vote for not going to the edge from me I'm afraid, gives it an odd finish on the rear quarters IMO

Fair play, its not totally to my taste, but what does that matter, as long as you like it :D

Where did you get the seat covers from?

Front looks good, rear not to my liking though

Seat covers off eBay

Looks like it, I need some new ones!

Looks better than I would have expected. If I was asked I'm not in favour of roof wrapping on a mk1 (or mk2 for that matter),

think it suits mk2 better though, but the pics and colours scheme show it working pretty well (dont think it would work on all colours though)

Partly down to the wind spoiler though, helps increase the area and makes it work better, good job
