Hello, I have a 2009 Octavia 1.9Tdi 105bhp, the turbo has just blown and I've had a new one fitted but the engine is smoking white smoke and there is great loss of power. The engine is shaking, jolting, what could this be? Thanks.

Had a similar sounding problem with my old fabia vrs tdi, was a pipe from or to the turbo that had popped off. Check all plastic/rubber piping and if that's the problem re-secure and strengthen with zip ties if your worried about it coming off again. I might be stating the obvious but I thought my car was trashed till I noticed the disconnected pipe!
