Basically ordered the tool, delivery date got changed so I wont have the tool for ages! Anyone able to lend me one for this weekend? If I break it I will pay for it obviously

Or if you get really desperate, Halfords sell a rail of 1/2" drive spline bits.

Can you not just use a flat head screwdriver and a hammer? Put some cloth over it so it doesn't mark them

If so it might just undo like mine then hammer the bolt out. Undo tge nut.

Then throw old ones away and use octavia bolts with a propper head lol.

Sorry, I didn't mean to come across impolite! The tool showed up randomly, after being dispatched yesterday and apparently expected to arrive next week!

I binned the spline bolts. Got new ones from tps and was surprised to see it and not a proper bolt. Lickilly I had new ones for my octavia and used them as they are the same but a bolt head is easier.

I've got the halfords ones in my toolbox, used it on loads of these bolts now and had no problems with any.
