Its tge original off a 2004 fab i tgink asz engine which is kkk maybe not sure mate

Not many places will hybrid a KKK unit because of how weak they are mate might as well sell it and by a garrett.

Yup a garrett will make same as a remapped pd150

I wouldnt even sell it I would keep it just incase ;) atleast you always have a back up to get you on the road sharpish.

Oh really i will check it out for code tonight are all asz engines kkk turbos. I cant keep it to use just incase i took it off cause my other one was reakly noisey and just not pulling right thats why i thought about hybriding it

Yup a garrett will make same as a remapped pd150

A mapped pd150 will make 180-190bhp

A mapped pd130 hybrid will make 200-210bhp

I got my Garrett pd130 hybrided at "The Turbo Clinic" in leeds. But they wont hybrid a KKK

There are differences in the exhaust manifold between the ASZ and later BLT engines but they are all deffo KKK units.

The only people I spoke to who would touch a KKK unit were AET Turbos.

They offered to rebuild a dead one using stronger internals for around £300; but they were very keen to emphasise that it was an improved standard unit and NOT a hybrid.

There are (or at least used to be) companies out there who would take a dead KK unit back in part exchange against a PD130/150 hybrid but you'll still need deep pockets....

Ha ha as if we could ...you're the turbo shopping expert on Briskoda, if you buy another fabia Im buying shares in Garrett

Has anybody tried one of the chinese turbo copies?  I know somebody who has fitted one and it works fine, to the point when it was next to the original genuine turbo it was difficult to say which was which, they retail around £250-£300 brand new and no need to service exchange.

 Take a look HERE

Ignore me then :)

It's £680 plus vat too man :(
