Interior lightning switch

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how to take the front panel where the to front interior rooflamps is fitted. I need to change the button that decides how the lamps are on/off/door it doesn’t work. I have no idea how to take it apart as there is no screews or anything else that I see.

Use a thin screwdriver and pop the surrounding frame down I did this to replace the bulbs with brighter led bulbs then the unit simply pushes back up

Not sure if the Octavia switch is the same as the Superb (I know the actual light fitting is different, but not sure if the actual switch is the same) but I have a spare rear Octavia one (estate) that has a broken case but working electrics and internals.

I can send that to you if its likely to be if use to you. Drop me a PM with your location if you want it.

I tried once more now and I foubd that I should use a thin sceewdriver to pull down the grey plastic and behind that there was 2 screews. Some glue inside the switch did the trick! 2 small plastic was broken but the glue fixed it :-)
