Lassa tyres

Featured Replies

Had a puncture in front tyre this morning, and as both were nearly ready for replacement I decided to get new ones.

Had Vredestien Sportrac 3 put on both rears a few months ago and was happy with them but as these were not in stock today the fitters advised Lassa, made by Bridgestone, as being similar and well thought of.

Have had one run in them so far and they seem good, cost was £140 for the pair, including everything, (the Vredesteins were £150 the pair) but I'd never heard of the make Lassa. Anyone able to report on them?

Made by a company that is a joint venture between Bridgestone and a turkish company, likely to be at the better end of the budget range.

I had Lassa Impetus or something on my MK1 octavia vrs and they seemed fine, not the best in the wet but the car was remaped to 220bhp and came in 1 big lump

The girlfriend had a full set of Lassa Impetus Sport on her Mitsubishi Colt. Admittedly it was only 75hp bean can but the tyres were fine. The car was like a go kart. When I looked in to them I read a forum post somewhere from someone in Turkey, saying that over there they aren't classed as a budget tyre and are as popular as the more well known brands.

Had a closer look and, yes, my new ones are Impetus
