Help on the Octavia Alloy situation, anyone??PLEEEEEEEEEEZE

Featured Replies

Hello people who also see through skoda's thick skin of rear window heater jokes and mockery!

My name is James, i am a poor (*sniff) engineering student and have the delight of owning a 2000 skoda fabia comfort.

I was pointed here because i'm searching for the possibility of fitting Octavia alloys to my Fabia. The alloys that im looking for are the OLD ones, 16" i think they were that came fitted to most Octavias. Very 'boxy' looking 5 spoke jobs. Does anyone know what im talking about?? and more importantly, does anyone know how i can go about getting some? help would be greatly appreciated

Oh, and if anyone would like help on the audio side of the fabia, i can offer up any help from

-which skoda head units do what (402/402A anyone?)

-to how to install a sub woofer under (yes under) your glovebox so no one even knows its there to steal

Keep happy people

yeah i keep looking but generally dont trust it for larger items. would much rather buy from a fellow entheusiast, as im sure you'll understand. Ta for the reply anyhow. Btw, do you know of any methods for making an SDI 1.9 (tho as wonderfully economic and powerful as it is) NOT perform like a transit?!

Haven't got any for sale but I believe you are after the wheels fitted to the Mk1 Octavia Elegance. May help track some down from a scrap yard or advert.

Here's a pic of my Elegance. Are these the wheels you are after?

Can't do anything with an SDI 1.9. They're all slow, especially Octavias :D:D

Indeed, Octy SDIs are slow :grumpy:

Welcome :wavey:

I have the skoda alloy wheel brochure in front of me.... and it looks as tho the style you are looking for is called 'Ride' ...

Ride 6,5J x 16", ET 42

tyre 205/55 R16

CCH 300 002

Dunno if this helps you at all ..... this listing is for the Octy tho

For the Fabia you will want a 205/45 16 tyre.
