New Yeti, 0% finance and discounts

Featured Replies

I tried every dealer in the north east. They all had the same spiel, which had been passed down from skoda: 0% with no discount or finance it myself and get about £2.5k off a 170 elegance.

I've gone for the 0% pcp as it actually works out at about the same monthly payment (well done skoda, your maths is spot on) & I like the idea of not paying for servicing. We got a teeny weeny bit of discount off the tow bar, but I an see that going up in smoke tomorrow when I call to change to the factory fit one.

I tried loads of brokers prior to ordering. The best I could get was about 3.5% off list but I'd have o drive to Brum to pick it up.

Does anyone have any more information on skoda 0% finance and discounts? Not rushing to swap the car, but might be persuaded if the deal is right!

Got around 5% off my SE Plus with the 0% finance and free servicing from a dealer down the road. My local dealer wouldn't give any discount. If you're in no hurry, then I'd wait until the 28th/29th of September when the 0% deal is about to end (and they know they won't sell many more pre-FL Yetis) and try a few dealers local to you by beating 'em down as low as they will go. See what offer you could get then, 'might be good enough to tempt you!

I was going to change my car early next year and I'm in the fortunate position to be able to pay cash. I was going to go nearly new but if I decide on a Yeti the second hand prices are so high that it's better to go new with a broker.

I've never had a new car as I've always felt, and still do, that unless you want to keep a car for years you just throw money away. Although not with the Yeti it seems.

The brokers are typically offering around £2000 off list. Even if I went 0% finance and free servicing it does not come close as the servicing will only be worth about £600, so I'll still save £1400. However as mentioned previously if a local dealer could come close I'd go with them. I doubt that will happen as I live in SE Northumberland and the two local dealers never budge with prices. I've had 4 fabias and bought them from Edinburgh to Birmingham.

Currently the press seem to think the FL will be priced similar to the current car so I think I'll wait for it to come out unless there are some amazing discounts for the current model.

I haven't got round to test drives yet but really hope I'm not disappointed by the Yeti as on paper it's my current favourite. I'll be going for the 1.2 as my mileage is low with lots of short trips less than 8 miles. My current car, Cmax, last shape, don't laugh, will take some beating for practicality and driving appeal.

I've spent the last 3 or 4 years trying to decide on a car type that suits me and finally come to the conclusion that I like a high driving position. Old age creeping up .Therefore an SUV or MPV.
