I also broke the clip

Here´s the process with AIRBAG (sorry did not find info)

The clip is very cheap

Use thin screwdriver

Don´t let the screw fall:)

After screw just peel off the panel , 3 clips you see will not break

Broken clip, whats left

Make sure everything tha belongs to the old clip is taken out, this small piece was stuck on the silicone that holds the window, the new clip also has this small piece

when i got my first Skoda (Fabia) how i laughed at the stupidness of this little plastic clip......................then couldn't believe how bloomin useful it is !!!!!!!!!

Are these clips the same for either side or is there a different part number for the other side, also u say there cheep, what's cheep ?

Such a shame VW dont fit them

Annoyed when Auto Glass didn't retain mine when they swapped the screen several years back. Dash top for me since, maybe no longer......

I would have thought you could fit one quite easily to a vw if not any car, all you need is to check there's no wiring underneath the metal and use a slef tapping/metal cutting screw. Seems straightforward enough, only problem I could see would be the shape of the metal on the a frame being different.

You can get stick on ones from Halfords that are similar.
