VRS sound

Featured Replies

I've just driven a diesel VRS around the Lake District and I'll be honest after reading some people's opinions on here, I was apprehensive. But there was no need. This car drives effortlessly through the gears, was quiet and responsive from low revs. I loved the sound generator. Not intrusive and I really like it for what it is. A bit of fun. If you think skoda put this on the car to pretend it it's not a diesel, you need your bumps feeling. If you think it's to drown out the diesel "chatter" it's not necessary as the engine noise is suppressed very well. And yes, Drive it on Normal and it's hardly noticeable. In Sport more so, but with the radio on, it's still background noise, and I loved it.
