  • All kidding aside, I saw a few yeti on the drive down to collect mine. The one that stood out least of all was a black one, I had to look twice to recognise it as a yeti. But I appreciate that its a

Hmm - I thought of you while watching Top Gear on Sunday - a nice subtle EV to augment the the Leaf. I don't suppose DtD will get much of a discount on it though :giggle:

The gobi sand leather also suits the muscovado  ;)

And with that combination the wood effect dash trim looks very good. Lots of comments on mine. The best one being when a passenger whose last trip was in a Bentley immediately noticed the wood effect trim and made favourable comparisons with the Bentley. !!!

No - she had no idea really. However a young Russian lass who was obviously impressed by anything looking vaguely like wood in a car. Made me smile. Skoda and Bentley were indeed connected with the Superb chassis being the basis of the Bentley chassis until recently. I told her that and she was duly impressed - unlike her usual attitude to my Skoda.

Oh! You've ruined the effect now...

Mine was the only used Yeti in the right spec with the right engine within 400 miles...what was I to do?

Should I respray it?

Black Yeti have an understated (undertaker?)  timeless elegance about them, personally black magic would have been second to the top of my preferred list of colour after solid red but like you my Yeti was not err... new..... ex showroom car with some extras.... which was nice  :sun:
