i'm a newbie with sat-nav technologies and i have a simple question.

 

my citigo elegance came with its own satnav, which is up to the job in a functional way (nothing fancy nor amazing).

 

i'm travelling to Italy next week, my questions are:

 

-could i take this satnav and will it work in europe without anything other than selecting a new country in the set-up?

 

-if i can't just use it straight away, but it is possible, what do i have to do in order for it to work?

If you have the European maps installed it should work, I dont know the specifics of your unit, but you may find speed camera warnings and traffic alerts wont work.

Speed camera alerts are illegal in France & Germany
