best place to get some steel wheels?

Featured Replies

Considering going the winter wheels route for my VRS, wheres the best place to get some 16 inch steelies then?

Probably used is the best bet as 4 new ones  seem to sit at over £200.

Look here to see what other cars wheels fit.

You might find a decent second hand set of alloys will end up cheaper than getting steels.

For a vRS you'll need at least 16" wheels.  To keep things simple look for wheels from mk2 Octavia, mk2 Superb, mk5 or mk6 Golf (also Jetta, Touran, Scirocco) and the newer shape Audi A3 and TT.  Wheels from VW Passat and Audi A4 and A6 (not latest model) will probably be fine, but watch out for the offset.

I managed to get a set online, when a guy thought they would fit his Laguna :) €20 for the 4
