I wasn't happy with my car paintwork when I got it - being a 56 plate it had a few marks on it and the wheels needed some attention so I got a paint enhancement (machine polish) , full wheel refurb and caliper repaint done from a local place.

Using it as a good base to work from now. Anyway, here's a few pics if you are interested...
