Can't fit black light clusters to a 2010 Fabia vrs :S

Featured Replies

Saw a silver Monte Carlo with the black front head lights and it looked amazing with them, it really suits it and makes it look more sporty! So I wanted to fit them to my 2010 vrs. Rang a place up who said they'd fit yet they wouldn't work properly? Very confused why they wouldn't something to do with the bcm? Or bco couldn't understand him very well. Can someone help and tell me why they wouldn't work?

2010 vrs has a seperate bulb for igh beamd and low beam where as the darker ones have a single bulb for both functions

Dont see why the cant be wired up to work properly though

So it can't be done then?

You can order a vRS with black pack though can you not?

Indeed you can.

So think vRS and not Monte & splash the cash.

It is a case of buying what is required to change to the updated look and fit it to your car.

(threads in this Forum if you have a look for them.)

Or 'much cheapness' option, maybe get some Fly Eye or like and cover your front light lenses and also up rate the bulbs.

'Plasti Dip' or Plasticote the Chrome grill surround Satin Black.

what the problem would be is the wiring for these headlights.  I took my car back to Skoda (for the day) so the mechanic would sort the wiring out so that the lights would fully work.  Took some time and wiring but there would be your problem mate.

Just my luck to think it would be a cluster swap, I'm and multi skilled engineer and do specialise in electronic engineering so may try and have a go myself.

Ok. Im due to take a photo of all the wiring etc for another member, so will drop that / them photos in here also.

Ahh thank you very much:D

It also depends on if you have the swiveling front-lights or the standard ones...

If it's the standard ones, it's no problem...

But with the swiveling lights / curve-light, you'll loose that function + have worse light on top off that =(.
