Featured Replies

After looking at a few cars locally, I went down to porsche specialist today and bought a .........Boxster S.

Details.

Boxster 3.2 S 2000/W

Arctic Silver,

Full blue leather (dark almost black) including dash,

air conditioning,

Blue power roof,

ABS,

power steering,

electric heated sports seats,

18" Sport Design alloys,

wind deflector,

computer,

sound pack,

CD player,

painted centre console and rollbars,

full Porsche service history.

a couple of small pics from the dealers website attached.

I am not looking forward to replacing the tyres, although the ones currently fitted have loads of tread left. The rear tyres are 265/35x18 I think, they are definately 265 wide although not sure of the profile.

Can you do pikey mods on a porsche?

Looks nice BTW!

Very nice indeed Manny :)

Manny

You going to mod & take it to the ring ? :)

Should be more or less ready for the ring experience. I am going to take it over there later this month although I wont take it on track till I am sure of how it handles, the ring is not a place to make a mistake. Over a standard boxster the S has more power and the brakes from a 911. The disks both front and rear are huge cross drilled things, and massive brake calipers mean its going to stop quickly.

Thats lovely... I've always had a thing for Porsche's

Couldn't afford a 911 then :) (Flame Suit on and Ready)

Manny looks nice, when you get a chance can you put up larger pics, the others only came out small here?

looks great  really good choice

I'll put up some better pics when I get the car, those are straight of the dealers website so are small anyway.

Looks great, bet you'll love it, whens it's first track day. :)

looks very nice mate, good choice

can i have your brakes? :P

Nice...:D

Very nice. Enjoy!

You want to swap it for an unmodded RS, :orb_hypno yes you do.

Very nice.

Was due to pick the car up tomorrow, just had the dealer on the phone and the car has a problem.

It went through the PDI yesterday, and there was a fault code on the computer. So the car needs a new MAF, they were hoping to get it today but alas the part didnt arrive.

So I now have to wait a few more days before getting to play with my new Boxster.

Must be a common problem, no matter what make of car you drive.

Manny,

That must be so annoying, just before a weekend. Here's to the next weekend being nice and sunny

Very nice - not the first person to go from Octy to Boxter either, I believe.
