Aye, Dave Hanton's black GTR in the final is reported at 1500+ BHP.

Great wee write up by Andy in the 22b forum.  Doing his VMAX run on £35 ebay special old E Class merc tyres, genius. Won the 1/4 mile, the handling and came second in VMAX by 0.5MPH.  What an all round car.  What a drive.

I never undesrstand how it gets through as a road car... but it's quick so I guess they turn a blind eye.

Yeah that's the one! It's removable, they only fit it for the handling circuit.

Makes a massive difference, he shaved about 3 seconds off his bes time or something.

Slight problem when you need to release the hea after a run though!
