Hi I own a 2006 Octavia II 2.0 VRS (petrol) and the air con has ceased to blow cold air. System has been recharged but hasn't made any difference. When I carry out the onboard diagnosis (pressing recirc and econ) I get a fault code of 382 OAH. Any ideas what this refers to as try as I might I cannot find anybody who has any idea.

I'm getting confused here as to the relevance of the fault code 00898. I have never seen that code on the display just 382 oah. Does it convert to 00898?

The only Google reference I can find to 382 OAH is your first post. The best advice I can give is for you to get a diagnostic scan of your car carried out. Have a look at the list of Briskoda members with VCDS in the link below and, if there is anyone local to you, contact them and ask if they would be willing to help.
