AC CONDENSERS - ADVICE WITH AFTERMARKET CONDENSERS

Featured Replies

I am an owner of an Octavia 2010 1.6 TDI

I have decided to get my condenser replaced as I'm pretty sure that is the issue with my AC not working.

I have been trawling the car part sites for an aftermarket condenser and dryer. I have found many but after many hours of searching for a bargain I have managed to find a combined condenser and dryer by a manufacturer called AVA from a parts company on the other side of the country for £34.75 which includes a 20% promo discount and free delivery.

I'm not sure if I'm just In luck or wether I should avoid such a cheap item?

Any advice would be most welcome. Thanks Sam

I'm sure it will be fine.

The condenser and dryer are one part, You can't buy it any other way. Just make sure you get the two green o-rings for the connection to the pump.

I bought mine from ECP for under £50 I think, works fine.

Depends on which one you originally have. Some are serviceable, the drier insert can be removed and replaced.
