  • Gordon Lamb Derby had theirs in at the end of last week. So, just done the deal today on their showroom Corrida Red Monte… 1.6 tdi all the way, Collection on Wednesday… yeeeehaw !!!

  • There you go, there's mine. Due to be picked up tmw.   Embarrassed to say at the time the dealer had to estimate the cost, as it wasn't on the computer at the time. Still I've done some checking on

I thought the ones in the threads here were how it will look.

The first 2 pics if you use goole images and put in Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo Estate.

Ye cheers george, i seen those but theres no owners images so i must be 1 of the first.

Ill stick a few pics up when i get her.

Everyone loves a good pic.

You are one of the first.

Looking forward to pictures as the cars arrive,

Just on my way to a big Skoda Dealership, i will see what is in the Pound today or coming off the transporters.

(Borrowing an Octy lll vRS Petrol Estate for the day.)

I ordered my monte on 2nd June (roughly) my build week is 34 and EDD is 2nd week of sep.

The dealership i ordered from have one in the show room now, think i arrives a couple weeks ago, so may be worth calling your nearest and biggest dealership to see if the have one in yet.

As soon as mine arrives ill have picture for you!

^^^^^Thats a monte estate btw^^^^^

There's Definitely one in the Swindon 'Fish Brothers' dealership!

I had a sit in it whilst waiting for my Greenline Estate to have it's final Valet on Friday before I picked it up!!.

The Monte was very nice!, very spacious too!! :)

We should be getting ours about the same time Glen

The race is on

Who will be first to get a pic up

Probably you as ill no doubt struggle trying to re size them to fit on the forum.

Mind make it arty farty for display purposes, female models beside also preferable ha ha:), or next to a tank!!!

Try an nice enquiry to 'Fish Brothers', maybe Sales Manager Olly.

some helpful Salesperson might take a picture or 3 and send them to you.

'Skoda Customer Services' brownie points!

Maybe not a sale to them from you, but to some others.

Skoda CZ & Skoda UK seem a bit shy to promote their 2013 Cars other than Yeti, Octavia, Citigo & Rapid.

** So that will be about them all other than the Fabia & Superb.**

Herc is good, but only if it's the spectre gunship version!!!!, ive got no hardware so ill have to do the obligatory hills in the background shots or somethin.

Well i was tempted to spend over 2 grand more to get a normal monte estate just so i could have it in Race Blue as with the Monte tech being so much cheaper most folk will sensibly go for it instead so Blue i reckon will be extremely rare.

I dont have any fancy editing software either, im just gunna park my car infront of one at work.....lol

If you want decent 'FREE' photo editing software, just download 'Gimp' or 'Pain.NET' both very good and easy to use! You can trim down photos to forum size easily and stick them on Imgur. Photobucket or Imageshack (again all free!! :) )

Me as i'm a Graphic/CAD designer I have Photoshop and Corel ;)

FYI...

Fish Brothers Swindon have an White Monte Estate as well as the Blue now!! :)

Ooo even better as my one on order is a white monte! AND..im going to swindon tomorrow...might make a de tour...lol

Gloss black everything as the hatch… with gloss black roof rails instead of roof.

Tidy job!!!

Wunderba.

Very nice.

Any dealership worth their salt should suggest to new owners that they could Paint the rear Drums for them before collection.

I think many buyers would pay £80 for that

Actually any Skoda Dealer in the UK should tell Skoda that delivering a car unfinished is unacceptable.

Just ridiculous really.

Must be about 10 Euro to coat the Drums properly during manufacturing.

That white one looks nice!

Yep I agree… the drums would look good painted. I'm surprised they're not on discs at the rear. Maybe doesn't need discs?

im so glad i went for the standard white, not only did i save 500+ quid on metalic paint it also looks utterly amazing haha

Im gunna ask tommorow at fish brothers about getting the drums done there, and also i want to have the side black protection strips added, for free of course!

DIY,

It is really only a 20 minutes work at each side job. & drying time depending on paint used.

ASAP when collected remove the rear wheels, and Mask around and using a Spray Can Finish the drum as you wish, no preparation needed,

let dry.

£8 max for the suitable can of Paint and you will not use half of that.

(Take more time if you wish, but the outcome will be the same probably.

Rust inhibitor first, then leave, then Finish with the paint of your choice..)

Apply a little Copper Slip (grease) to the centre hub.

Refit Wheels.

Thanks for the pics stu, that has pleased my face! :)

I've gotta agree, out of the 2 pics i prefer the white, maybethe angle & the stickers but the blue one looks jacked up on its suspension.

I am used to my greenline & it is lower than the monte i believe.

I know the red is a common colour with monte hatch's but im still glad i went with it.

So far ive had a red type-r, 2 x red Mk2 golf gti's, & a red polo gti & they were some of my best cars & enjoyed a good polish.

The Monte shall get the same treatment.

I'll ask about getting the drums done BUT i've already got lined up a tin of Zinc primer and a tin of black hammerite, first thing ill do once home is get them painted!  i did it on my 08 Ibiza which had drums, nice and easy, and quick! looked so much better lol

i have also got a dog guard and boot liner purchased from ebay for 70 quid for them both posted!

Im now debating on what colour rear bumper guard to get, to go along the boot sill lip. Black/Silver/brushed alloy/carbon fibre? views/opinions?

I like the look of the white one too, but wonder why they haven't got the black roof of the hatchback? :wonder:
