Hi, I've a 1.2TSI that we bought in 2010 and was fitted with the panoramic sunroof. Recently it's started juddering when being opened or closed. Any harm squirting some silicon spray or grease in the runners? What do we think? Any comments welcomed.

Lithium grease in the actual runners is what I use but make sure the dealer actually lubes it at every service - its on the schedule!

From a ex sunroof fitter don't use grease this holds grit which will cause more damage,Try a little silicone spray it should help,wipe clean all runners etc fist good luck

Fair enough, that's your view but that goes against the advice of the manufacturer for the unit and Skoda.
