Hi All,

 

As far as I can see there's no mention of an Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror for any model in Mar, Jun or Aug's Mk 3 brochure, so am I right in thinking that an ADRVM is part and parcel of the Elegance's rain sensor and therefore not available for an SE?

 

 

Any Octavia 3 with light assistant has the auto dimming mirror also. Not sure if light assistant is an option on SE cars but is standard on Elegance and vRS trims.

Thanks pipsyp.  Having read the Jun '13 brochure again I can now see what you say is quite right and that it's now part of "intelligent light assist".  If they had just printed in the brochures that it also incorporates an ADRVM it would have made things clearer - to me anyway.  As for intelligent light assist it's a £440 option on an SE.  

 

For me personally, my £440 will go towards the "intelligent parking assistant" at least then the wife might feel a bit more confident parking the thing!
