Morning all,

I have just changed the fuel filter on my Vrs 2.0 TSI with one purchased from a Skoda dealer, and have noticed the PN is 1 digit wrong, and the pressure stamped on one end is also slightly different.

Does anyone know whether the old part has been superseded? Or is the one I have just fitted incorrect?

Thanks in advance

Dan

I guess no one knows

But FYI.... No running problems, so I presume its just an updated part.... After all im sure the Skoda parts computer never lies.... Although at first the guy at the desk asked me whether I was sure it had a fuel filter as he couldnt find it on the computer!

Ask Skoda about your findings, surely they could tell you if the part has been updated.

I would guess its updated and that's a MAX pressure rating but not seen one like it before -- can't see the point as it does not "seem" to incorporate a pressure control system unlike some horrendously expensive merc' ones

I just replaced my own with the same as you (1K0201051K), and according to the carage owner it is the right part. Works ok for me.
