British PID - country specific?

Featured Replies

Hi 'Go'ers (Primarily you guys placed in the UK)

Need a quick favor.. We do not have the PID and I want to order it at Ebay from a British seller.. But, as I have not seen it before I would like to check 2 things with you.

1: Do they have all European maps when from UK like they have when bought from the dealers in Denmark.

2: Since UK cars means right hand side driving will this mean anything to the PID. (remember I will be sitting to the left of it)

Have already checked. Item no. is the same in DK and UK, but just want to be 100 % sure..

Help a fellow go'er..

Cheers..

Søren

Don't believe it's "handed" in any way. You enter your country of useage when switching it on for the first time as I recall, so it shouldn't matter.

Alright.. Thanks..

And it isn't "pointed" in a direction towards the right? - how 'bout maps?

It is on a moveable/swivel mount, so fine LHD or RHD.

When you load it up for updates @ fresh maps or something similar sounding you can add any map, not sure on the cost but it is an option :)
