Crew protection & rear side airbags

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

2nd post on here and looking for answers, as most of us are in this section by the looks of things.

We (me and my wife) had a test drive of the diesel vRS estate today and we're looking at ordering one this weekend.

The dealer gave me his list of options and we wanted rear side airbags for our daughter who will spend most of her life in the back.

The dealers list showed crew protection and rear side airbags as an option for £400,-, however, on the Skoda website it shows crew protection for £120,- and rear side airbags at £280,- but more importantly shows them as separate options.

Has anyone ordered either of these as individual options?

The dealer said he'd place the order and see what happened. Bit of a wishy washy way of finding out if they are availabe separately.

James.

I think I am the only owner so far with crew protection. (I stand to be corrected!). I think you'll find you have to order both. It has been like that on configurator since launch and shows them seperate but won't allow them to be selected without selecting both (or was the case last time went on there). Skoda appear to change there minds like the wind so you may get lucky and be able to order just rear airbags, so best of luck!! Mine by the way is full crew protection and was not available to order rear side airbags seperatly.
