Hello all, Chris from near Wrexham/Chester border. Just bought an Octavia Laurin and Klement DSG hatch which I collect on Monday pm. 57 plate. It's a lovely car and did a bit of research on here prior to purchase. Drove up and down country looking for these particular cars and was disappointed beyond belief on arrival at independent dealer locations. All tatty and one in Milton Keynes has rear end damage on both rear quarters, tailgate, bumper, rear o/s door and interior of boot from accident damage! This is after the salesman told me it was immaculate prior to travel and asked for a non refundable £200 Deposit. It was a waste of over £100 with fuel and nursery fees, these people should be bound by their word to refund travel costs if not as described! It's still for sale so buyer beware and think long and hard before you travel! Ended up buying from a main dealer for peace of mind. Anyway rant over apologies. I am amazed by these cars having never had one before the test drive was sublime. Can anyone tell me what the standard spec is for these cars as I can't seem to find it on line? Thanks. Chris.
