Skoda VRS boost pipes

Featured Replies

So i've been searching around the forum before asking and seen threads such as this one for the top hoses...

http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/274533-top-boost-pipe-replacement-diy/?hl=%20intercooler%20%20hose

which has been great. But I'm wondering about solutions for the bottom hose. The annoying small 90 degree hose that connects the intercooler to the aluminium pipework.

I see that forge make an after market one but i'm wondering if anyone body does an all in one solution (i.e. the 90 degree pipe and aluminium pipe together) so there is fewer joins?

Or are there any aftermarket aluminium pipes?

The reason I ask is because I replaced my 90 degree pipe two years ago and already it is showing signs that it is leaking and about to pop off. Additionally, the aluminium pipe where the pipe clips in, appears to going as well.

Any advice would be great. :-)

3rd reply on this now lol

SFS performance now make a 1 piece lower pipe replacement using billet alloy connectors for turbo and intercooler end, bespoke silicone hoses for either end and a nice polished alloy tube

retail is 125 plus vat but we get discount.

Best money ive spent along with matching top pipe

Its shown on SFS performance facebook page as its not listed on there website yet

That's brilliant. Thank you for posting a link.

I'll try and order one today.

Spoke to SPS earlier. Apparently the part might be a prototype and not in production, but the contact (Lee?) is away on holiday at the moment, so probably won't know until then.

I'm a tad more desperate than that.
