Been wanting to downsize from my Octavia estate for a while now and have been searching for a Fabia 1.4 tdi Bohemia to replace it.  I'd really like to have a factory sunroof but as yet haven't seen one. They should exist as according to the brochure I have a sunroof was a £400 option for all models.  Anyone know for sure or seen one?

Yep, My 2006 Fabia Estate has one.

 

But it's the only one i've ever seen with a sunroof........they are quite rare.

But it's the same as pretty much every other tilt and slide sunroof I have ever seen. It has a solid blind that you can open and close. The only unusual thing is the control for it. As you can see in the picture below it is a knob. But it works really well....to open it fully you just turn the knob to the fully open position and it automatically opens it.....no pressing and holding buttons like every other sunroof I have seen....the same when closing it.

     

 

 

 

To be honest, I've never been a huge fan of sunroofs, and I never really use it. I find the extra ventilation they provide is cancelled out by direct sun shining on your head! I would never pay £400 to have it as an option, but it just so happened the original owner of my car did!
