:) Hi, I bought an Octavia slx tdi 110bhp 56k with fsh, wonderful car i love it including the minor rattles but i hate the power loss when accelerating. looking in the workshop forum people suggest changing the fuel filter & changing or cleaning the MAF sensor. Does the fuel system need to be depressurized and where is the MAF sensor and how much is it? Any help would be great.

Hello and welcome!

Welcome.

I and many other members have had some problems with the 110 TDI power. To be honest it could be a number of things. The MAF, Fuel filter, turbo, EGR valve etc etc. You would need to be very specific about the actual problem, like when does it happen, what revs, does the car go into limp mode etc. People will be forthcoming with advice if yuo can narrow down the problem.

Try a search for 110 TDI power loss.

Is your car out of warranty??
