Just looking on Halfords to get some oil for SWMBO's car to do a change,  had a look at the Mobil 1 which is normally £50 ish for a 5L bottle of 5-30 ESP

 

Should be £51.99 for 5L , says on offer 30% off £36.39 however when you add to the basket it takes another 30% off which makes it £25.47 for 5L which seems very cheap to me, even with the 30% discount at ECP it's still £36.

 

I did a reserve and collect online and picked a bottle up in the local shop at that price! bargain!

 

Seems to be the same for all the Mobil oils on offer at the moment.

the 5 litres of Mobile 1 5w 30 a friend gave me that he had got from a friend, was not fit to be used as Engine Flush,

 

I only found out the first time after doing an oil change and getting the engine hot and thrashing it and the Temperature going 10 degrees higher than normal for what i was doing.

 

Dropped the oil and it was like Burst Oil from years ago.

They have indeed corrected the misprice (after the HUKD massive took the site out lol) - people are reporting collecting with no issues this morning.

No it was fixed way before yesterday afternoon, thanks to the sheep at HUKD flooding the site. Probably don't even need any just buying it because HUKD says its a good deal.
