Do Not Jack label

Featured Replies

On my 2010 yeti there was a big white label, stuck on the right rear suspension arm, warning not to use the arm as a jacking point.

I noticed today that on the new yeti, the label is missing.

Is this something to do with the suspension update a while ago or has it just been missed on the build?

It should be stuck on at PDI, most fitted, many fall off and the rest don't get fitted at all, filed in "b 1 n".

Ta, kind of what I thought.

The brake fluid label under the bonnet normal comes with the jack label. With both our Yeti and Monte the jack sticker was not stuck in place but the fluid check is. Managed to get Allams to send me the missing sticker and fitted it myself for the Yeti (came with another fluid label, so theres now two under the bonnet :giggle:  ) but I didn't get round to bothering with the Fabia.

2013 model, and mines stuck on the left side

My (ugly) don't jack label was in a bag with my documents...  I never fitted it to the suspension as A it looks ugly and B what dingbat will try and lift a car on a suspension arm?!

it wouldn't be the first time if some dingbat did that, or on an outer part of the sill, or directly on the floorpan :(

Let's see .This Dingbat first (and last ) did that in 1973. :giggle:

Just checked under our 15 month old 2WD and it's not fitted/missing.

It was fitted to our 2010 4x4  though,so ties in with CFB's Yeti.

Brake fluid sticker is there.

I've not looked under the boot carpet yet so the no jack sticker might be there.
