Seat Belt jammed

Featured Replies

Morning guys and girls,

Got in the vRS this morning and the drivers side seat belt wouldn't budge. Not an inch...

Managed to make it budge just enough to cover me (big bloke as well), but it genuinely won't budge any further. Now cue the chubby jokes, I'm losing weight not putting it on - so I know it's not right at the end!

Any idea's? It's always been very slow feeding back in. Is this a common fault? I did a search but couldn't find anything particular!

Cheers

Ben

Slow  feeding back is sign of dirt on the belt. best cure on here is to use a silicone spray on the belt. I use Mr Sheene yearly/or when it gets a bit slow. Pul it out as far as you can and sprasy . Let it back and give it a bit of a work out.

Thanks VWD, I'll give that a try over the weekend.

Appreciate your help :)
