It is the Autumn WSM meet time again planned for Saturday 26th October 2013.

 

So as this is the south west of England expect rain

 

I will only be able to arrange the Saturday this time round, So plan to hopefully make an interesting day trip of it

I am sure there will be a few that will arrange caravan activities at Brean for the Saturday night 

 

Like always the plan is for everyone to meet at Weston Sea Front Car Park by the miniature railway about 10:00am
and of course the usual pre meet Convoys
from the North, Easton Gordano Services (Junction 19 M5) at 9:00am
- can leave at 9:15am for a casual drive down to the beach
from the south, Exeter Services (formally Granada services) at 9:00am
- Can leave at 9.15am for a leisurely cruise up the motorway

 

We can all park for the whole day on the sea front and people can spend the day with us or do there own thing.

First I plan a casual stroll along the sea front to spend a couple of hours on the pier.
We can all grab fish and chips on the Pier or you can decide to bring a packed lunch to eat on the pier/beach, after this is a casual walk back to the cars

About 2pm I plan a trip to 2 or 3 Cider Farms, West Croft Cider and then Rich's Cider Farmhouse.

 

After the Cider farms I will make it up as we go along depending on numbers. I.e. interesting drive somewhere and nice pub dinner etc.

 

If you do plan to stay for the weekend usually people arrange a caravan/caravan shares through Beachside Holiday Park http://www.beachsideholidaypark.co.uk/ I have no links with them so cant promise you a caravan if you don't book a bed quick.

No good for us I'm afraid, last round of the Autosolo championship that weekend so we'll be busy setting up for that on the Saturday and then competing on the Sunday.

Got the Saturday off! Sounds good to me  

I will be along if I can. Will be good to give my Octy its first Weston meet.

I am in in principle.  If it suits others, can it be pushed back a week if a few of the regulars can't make it?

I should be able to make this (if I don't forget like last time!) - seems its happening in my town.. lol!

no good for us either I'm afraid... its the timing, we have a wedding the weekend after , and time off is impossible :(

As I will be at WSM meet the weekend before the wedding and visiting a few ciders farms, would there be any requests for Cyder deliveries to be handed over at the Wedding?

Me too - without a Skoda and my mate wouldn't appreciate me putting the miles on his Merc, and I wouldn't appreciate the fact it does half the economy of the mongrel....
