  • Me looking like a goon: Pick it up on Friday. More pics to follow. It has a miltek on which really enhances the V8. On par with a C63 IMO.

  • I'm not prepared to jeopardise the warranty on the power train and drive train on such an expensive car. Plus the RS sounds bloody glorious, has ceramic brakes, bucket seats and many other options.

  • Kids are wwwwaaaayyyy to close for comfort lol

No sunroof :D thunderbirds style

Actually, isn't Nick's place over his garage?

That'd be quite cool. :D

Is that going to be your new vehicle entry system Richard? :D

If in Nick's place I'd have to rig something up.

But as my garage is detached (and my car hobby means my Wife gets the garage) it's a bit pointless. :giggle:

Sliding out the window would still look awesome :)

My neighbours think I'm a nut nut already...

And I haven't found myself a tank yet. :giggle:

Imagine their faces when you roll up in a tank :D

So..... I loved your old S5.

Don't even get me started how much I would love an RS5    Enjoy it!

Niiiiiick...can I come have a nose some time :D?

Properly stunning car, those brakes are epic man!

  • 2 weeks later...

was just on looking at the RS again (mmmmm) and a question occurred to me, what happens when its Foggy Nick? are there no foglights?

They are in the main light cluster.

interesting, never seen fogs in a main cluster before that I can think of, wouldnt they be less effective? still wouldnt stop me buying an RS5 if I had the monies!

I am unsure of how effective they are in fog to be honest.

RS 5 definitely worth the money I must say. Great motor and a real monster when you mash the pedal.

Doesn't the mk 1 octy have them in the main light cluster?

Lovely looking car, Love the "blade" alloys great choice of weapon happy motoring Nick :)

Yup:

I've never needed front fog lights...

The GT-R doesn't have them either.

They were so well used by Audi & BMW drivers, that the EU created DRL's for them so they could not be done by the police for running with fogs on .  :giggle:

so the RS5 Nicky.......... have you modded it yet?

Not yet. Looking to change the steering wheel, tint the windows, wrap the splitter and chrome around the windows in black, then plastidip the grill black.

It's already got an aftermarket exhaust which is really nice.

Beautiful car. I'm not jealous at all

Flat bottomed wheel would be nice, I would wrap the grill while you are at it TBH, I dont find Plastidip to be all that hard wearing or resilient to stone chips!
