Uprated Anti-roll bars...

Featured Replies

Ok guys, so i've ordered some powerflex black series bushes now for my track car.

I am now thinking I may as well upgrade the front arb as it will be a good time to do it, so was just going to order the R32 farb.

However as I am running a whiteline 24mm HD adjustable RARB, does that mean the 23mm R32 farb will be too strong, and therefore induce understeer again ?

Given that a Whiteline 24mm gives a good balance on a stock vRS, I would say yes.

For track work you can go bigger

28 rear and 24 front

Is that going to give much of a gain over 24 rear and 19 front though ?

Yeah you can be more aggressive due to sticky tyres etc etc so stiffer the better

I ran 32 rear and ( same strength as 28mm on hard ) and 25 front aggressive but awesome.

I still use the car on the road too, as I prefer it to my LCR tbh.

So maybe i'll go with the R32 front arb for now, and upgrade the whiteline later to a 28mm.

Also thinking of stripping the LCR and keeping the engine for a conversion later on, decisions decisions.

I use mine just on the road at the minute and its 28 rear and 25 front Neuspeeds. Works bloody well and isn't at all over doing it.

I have a nuespeed 25 mm farb for sale ;-)

Lcr?? Why you not like ?

Pm me a price then (i've ordered 23mm black series bushes now though, so will have to be cheap ;))

Dunno, always wanted 1, now i've got 1, I just don't enjoy driving it as much as the Octy.

It's worth more than I paid for it in bits, so i'm thinking I might just take it apart and keep the engine (bam lump), turbo, dials, ecu, loom and the steering wheel and maybe a few other bits and pieces for the track car and flog the rest.

Still undecided on that yet though.

I put the v5 golf one on the front of mine think it was 22mm???

With a white line Rarb seems to work well
