I picked up my Monte yesterday, it's a 63 plate so it's brand spanking so it has the new Skoda badges on the front and rear, now in my eyes the center caps would have been new badges but there not they are of the old kind (green and says Skoda) should they be the new badges on the wheels to?

My 13 plate has new badges all round. Sounds wrong to me. Speak to your dealer.

It is a new registered 63 plate, but check when it was built.

 

Anyway a new car, and enjoy it,

hopefully the dealer will change the badges for you to keep you happy.

I thought so thanks I'll get on the case tomorrow, I know that techs have be sitting waiting to be ordered so I guess they just slipped up and didn't change all the badges over

Mines got the new ones all round. I've just been outside to check, now that it's been brought up!

should have all new type badges since june. Have the dealer change them. You can see when the car was built just look under the bonnet some of the wires have labels on them with the date and time of fitting at the factory.

Mine was collected in April and has new badges all over.

The wheels might have been swapped from another car for some reason.

Im sorry to laugh at your expense but I find it funny mate. Its something that would really really **** me off having the new skoda badges plastered over my car and not having the badges the same on the wheels I hope they sort it.

I am sure that cars are delivered without wheel centres fitted and they are somewhere in the car. My guess is that your wheel centres were old green type( not likely) missing (possible) or maybe sold to someone wanting new style centres quickly and they had to find some more for your car.

does anyone know if old badges are easy to replace?

Going in tomorrow to get changed, all I got was hmmm that's strange lol but at least it's sorted, still bugs me though and I'll never find out why this was.

They are never going to admit fault but you have your end result. If want to know why too saying that.
