OMG what should I do?

Featured Replies

When I was buying my wife her Citigo I got looking at a Octavia vRS estate in the show room and thought it was brilliant.  A dealer has just phoned me and offered me their demonstrator model which has bigger optional alloys and a few other bits of kit for £22K.  Only downside is that it is white not Race Blue.  Going in this evening to talk figures, but I just don't know as I will take a beating on my current car as I have not owned it long enough for it to be worth more than the outstanding finance.

If they've called u and offered it at £22k I'm sure there's still room to get it a bit cheaper!

Only downside is that it is white not Race Blue.

The white estate looks better IMHO, though I get the feeling it is going to be ubiquitous

Interesting to see if they'll do that on the 0% PCP - I know technically it says new orders but hey, you never know - could be a good bargain.

As someone else pointed out if they called you haggle them down from that 22 :)

White is very nice, my white elegance hatch should be here soon.....go for it you only live once !!

It might be worth getting a quote on a new one if your buying with finance, because with the 0% deal at the moment it may actually work out cheaper depending on the rate they offer on a used car.

I think you can do better price-wise against a demo. It's pre-registered etc etc.

Just my gut feeling - and there's no harm trying.

Would be inconsequential to me anyway, as I wouldn't have a white car.... :)

How did it go last night?

+2 ?

Like a good Skoda man, weigh up the options, calculate the finances and then decide.

If logic suggests no go on a new vRS, have a convenient mid-life crisis and buy one anyway.
