Tracking my order

Featured Replies

Hi all (and a special hello to all in Wales)

This is my first post so be kind.

I placed my order for a Yeti (SE+, 140PS diesel, DSG) in August - wanted to get in before the Fl is introduced - and was given week 43 for the build date (so one of the last pre-FL). I was given to understand that it is possible to track an order with the order number, but I search of the Skoda Auto and VAG websites did not come up with a way of doing this. Can anybody help?

I should also add that prior to taking the plunge I have dipped into this forum - itseems a very friendly and useful place to be. Thanks

My recent experience (ordered Jan, took Delivery March) is that the only option is to keep phoning the dealer.  I never got any news proactively.

It seems odd that you can spend £300 on a computer, then get regular updates on its design, build, delivery etc.  But you spend ~£20K on a  car and its a communication black hole.

The 'Track My Skoda' is only available to a certain group of dealerships, discussed here

Good luck with the new car.

Your dealer will be able to trace progress on the order and if you ask them they may be willing to tell you which day they receive their update so you can focus your requests.

I was given my order number which would have allowed me to check with Skoda customer services. Try to relax-it will seem like ages, the more so if you let it stress you.

Thanks everybody. I did not want to be a pain at the dealers and they have promised to keep me up to date, but I wanted something to pass the time - early November for delivery at the best guess.

Having just taken delivery of a new Roomster, I was in the same situation as you..I would honestly stick to getting updates from the dealer. Skoda customer services are little more than a very poorly trained joke, from my experience of them...They had to admit (to the dealer not me) that they had lost track of where the car actually was..and another tried telling me that the car had been at sea a week, from Emdon to Grimsby, but should be arriving there soon  :wall:

It will however be all worth it when you get your mitts on it..they are great cars and I just laugh about the trouble I had...time flies..just pester the dealer they should be helpful, they know what the wait is like and all the best with it

Ordered mine from Vindis in Bury St Edmunds in May this year, regular updates and delivered on 31st July. Could NOT have had better info or service, how do the other dealers get it so wrong that people on here are so disappointed?
