What's it worth? Pair of pickup hockey stick trims

Featured Replies

I normally hate threads like this, but my problem is I've got a bit too much hippy in me, so I always end up selling bits too cheap. I know, from experience, they're hell to get hold of when you want a set.

Anyone know what the going rate is for a pair?

you have to be a freedom member on here to sell stuff I'm afraid which is by annual subscription of £12.

as for the hockey sticks, it's name your price time, they are rare as rocking horse poo now, if somebody wants them they will step over thier own grandmothers grave to get a pair...

Cheers chap, I'm planning on joining up, but I'm on skint month at the minute.

I've got someone that wants them, but I'm way to prone to saying "give us a tenner or something" for my own good.

Sometimes bits like this is when Ebay comes good.  Low supply, big demand - let market forces find its "right price"

Yeah, just a bit, which is why when I've got someone in the next unit to mine wanting to buy them, I could do with an idea what to ask.

I paid £100 for a pair of them about 4 years ago, they were rare then too, they were about 180 each new but they've not been available to buy from skoda for donkeys years now.

having said that If I was going to a scrapyard, I wouldnt pay more than a tenner each!!

That has to be a  moment!

What are they?

Hockey sticks is the colloquial name coined by somebody on here in the dim and distant past for the long L shaped plastic trims that run along the top rails of the load area on a pickup, they are kind of like the shape of a hockey stick... I honestly can't remember who it was that started it all off now but the name has stuck.

Oh I see. Thanks for enlightening me!
